DBT Day Treatment Program
The DBT Center of Southern California’s day treatment Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program allows you to remain in the comfort of your home while receiving intensive treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder, depression, anxiety, and other psychiatric disorders.
The center’s DBT day treatment program was created for people who are transitioning from a residential treatment program or who need more structure than an outpatient treatment program or private psychotherapy.
Our day treatment DBT program may be an effective alternative to residential or inpatient treatment. The DBT center also offers a standard outpatient DBT program for those who require longer-term treatment.
DBT Treatment and Skills Groups at the DBT Center of Southern California
Our DBT day treatment program in Los Angeles provides DBT skills groups, individual DBT therapy sessions, and phone coaching, as well as support and structure, five days per week. In addition to DBT treatment, the center provides a host of other therapeutic services. Our day treatment program is one of the most intensive DBT programs available anywhere, with services offered five days per week, six to eight hours per day.
At the DBT Center of Southern California’s day treatment DBT program, your treatment will be led by a therapist trained in the DBT model. Our team of DBT therapists has received intensive training by Behavioral Tech, Marsha Linehan’s training institute, or UCLA Harbor Hospital’s DBT training program.
Through individual DBT therapy, DBT skills groups, homework assignments, and phone coaching sessions, you will learn healthy coping mechanisms that will help you make a lasting recovery from your psychiatric disorder.
Clients are able to practice their DBT skills in real-life settings with help from therapists who are trained in the DBT model. Clients receive help with educational, vocational, and employment goals while in day treatment.
