Erycka conducted assessments and supported the clinical team with direct client care.
While in graduate school at Antioch University, Erycka found her interest in the trauma specialization with an emphasis on military and civilian populations. Erycka began her practicum with Antioch University Counseling Center seeing individual clients, adolescents, and couples. Antioch also provided a partnership with the Culver City Senior Center where Erycka also worked with older adults for 1:1 therapy and advocacy work.
While at Antioch, Erycka began her transition with Clearview Women’s Center for Borderline Personality Disorder, Venice, in 2015. Erycka began as a community counselor where she also assisted the clinical team in direct client care and provided skills coaching en vivo. While at Clearview, Erycka found a passion for teaching and quickly transitioned to group facilitator and has led Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Seeking Safety, Positive Psychology, Relapse Prevention, and Behavioral Activation. In continuing her growth within the Clearview family, Erycka then transitioned to full time residential house manager where she held that role for nearly a year. Erycka made the move to Clearview’s intensive outpatient program (IOP) as a pre-licensed therapist at the beginning of 2022. Erycka conducts individual DBT sessions, facilitates skills groups, and provides phone coaching, while remaining adherent to the DBT model.
